Monaca, PA – The Community College of Beaver County Titans extended their winning streak to 5 games with 3 home wins to close out the month of November and started the month of December on the right foot. The Titans finished November by defeating the Northern Virginia Nighthawks. The Titans began December with two home victories over Westmoreland and the Community College of Allegheny County.

The CCBC Titans were led by Sophomore Guard Cyrie Coates, who posted 21 points and 9 rebounds in the 107-85 victory over Northern Virginia. Sophomore Forward Chris Greene added 20 points. Sophomore Guard Dymir Montague scored 14 points and Freshman Forward Elijah Kiah-El added 13 points and 5 rebounds off the bench.

To begin the month of December, The Titans were able to put up 133 points in each of their next two contests to defeat Westmoreland and CCAC respectively. On Monday, December 2nd, Freshman Guard Yazid Powell and Sophomore Forward Chris Greene paced the Titans, scoring 24 points each in the 133-54 win over Westmoreland. Greene added 10 rebounds to his effort and joined Sophomore Guards Rasheed Browne and Cyrie Coates and Sophomore Forward Tyree Corbett who all posted double-doubles in the victory.

Two nights later, Freshman Guard Yazid Powell powered the offense with 28 points on 11-13 shooting from the field in the 133-59 victory against CCAC. Sophomore Guard Simeon Fryer scored 23 points and pulled down 7 rebounds in the win. Powell added 10 rebounds on the night, giving him a double-double, joining Sophomore Guards Rasheed Browne and Cyrie Coates and Sophomore Forwards Chris Greene and Tyree Corbett who all posted double-doubles in the win.

The CCBC Men will head to Cumberland, Maryland for the Pepsi-Cola Classic at Allegany College of Maryland, where they will take on Hagerstown Community College on Friday, December 6th and face the host team Allegany College of Maryland on Saturday, December 7th. The CCBC Titans will look to stretch their winning streak to 7 games. The Titans will play at 5:00pm on Friday followed by a 3:00pm start on Saturday.
