Beaver County Falls At Pennsylvania Highlands In Five-Set Thriller
JOHNSTOWN, Pa. – The Community College of Beaver County volleyball program was locked into its first match of the season that went the distance, going blow-for-blow on the road at Pennsylvania Highlands before falling in five.

- Make that four in-a-row for Lainah Bruce in terms of double-doubles, assisting 23 (4.60 p/s) kills and scooping up 12 digs (2.40 p/s) while recording at least one each of the kills (3), aces (2), and blocks (1) departments.
- Meredith Kolling is spearheading the resurgent charge on the court, putting together 23 digs (4.60 p/s) and 16 kills (3.20 p/s) plus a game-high five blocks.
- Delana Fox and Abby Olszanski combined to tally 24 digs (4.80 p/s) between the duo while Fox hammered away at four kills.
- Alaya McKenzie (4, 0.80 p/s) and Rylee Lavelle (3, 0.60 p/s) were the netminders that forced seven Black Bears attempts back at their faces, the former notching a quartet of kills / digs on top of a trio of service aces.
