Monaca, PA - On Wednesday evening the Community College of Beaver County volleyball team defeated Penn Highlands for the first victory of the 2022 season. The Titans traded sets with the Black Bears until winning the decisive fifth set 15-5.

"Last nights game was a rollercoaster ride of energy. We struggled at first to gain our confidence as a team, but the girls on and off the court ramped up the energy to put on a great show. Everyone in the gym was fired up after the first set," said first year coach Rose Leslie. "Both setters, Morgan Laughner and Jensyn Main did a fantastic job running some quick plays with Chase Young. One key player in the match was Keaira Chambers. The freshman outside hitter stepped up with some phenomenal swings. Her determination carried the team to our first victory on the road."

The Lady Titans are back in action Monday, September 12th, at home in The Golden Dome. They face WCCC at 6:00pm.
