MONACA, Pa. – The Community College of Beaver County women's basketball program may have wrapped up the regular season in defeat vs. Potomac State, 84-76, but the trio of Jada Ward, Brooklynn Medina, and Kasaya Krause have lifted the Titans to new heights as they head into the Region 20 Tournament for just the second time in team history.

Titans' Top Performers:

 

  • Ward was incredible once again, going off for a game-high 35 points and six steals on 13-of-28 (46.4%) shooting in addition to leading the team at seven assists.

 

  • Medina was second in scoring command, notching 18 points alongside five boards and a blocked shot.

 

  • Josie Russell, the freshman phenom, posted ten or more points in all 20 games she appeared in while racking up 14 double-doubles (70%) including Wednesday's contest, adding 16 points plus ten rebounds (seven offensively) to her resume.

 

  • Krause tallied a solid seven in the score sheet including a trio of boards and a pair of both assists as well as steals.

  • Head Coach Sanford Silver's ladies will host the Region 20 Quarterfinals inside the Golden Dome against a currently unknown opponent on Tuesday, March 3 as the Blue and Gold seek their first ever postseason victory.
