The Titans are looking forward to finishing strong

The Dome-Monaca, PA. – The Community College of Beaver County men's basketball team clinched the Western Pennsylvania Collegiate Conference regular season championship with a 110-83 overtime victory against Butler County Community College Saturday in The Dome.
 
The Titans (23-3, 11-1 WPCC #11 NJCAA Polls) were able to put together one of their most offensive powered performances of the season to get the victory after pouring in 110 points, the victory secured the WPCC regular season championship.
 
The Titans most recent contest was against the high flying Hawks of Hagerstown, another high powered scoring day for The Titans putting 111 points on the scoreboard assisted in clipping the Hawks, with 3:04 left to play in the first half Deontae Robertson and Daryl Bones combined on a 11-0 run which allowed The Titans to stretch. Hagerstown responded with a layup from Bryant Willis to cut into The Titan lead with 1:07, that basket would be the last basket for the Hawks for the half.
 
Marquis Dubose sank a buzzer beater basket at the half stretching the halftime lead to 15.
 
Simeon Fryer and Deontae Robertson were dominant in the second half, leading the way to outscoring Hagerstown 65-31 in second half. Fryer and Robertson both scored double figures in the second half.
 

CCBC currently sits second in the Region XX standings with three games remaining in the regular season. Their next challenge will come Thursday night on the road at Potomac State College with tip set for 7:00 p.m.
