Bio

Colin Sisk begins his first full academic year as the administrator with primary oversight for the CCBC intercollegiate athletics programs for the 2020-21 academic year. Sisk has been with CCBC since 2018, serving as the college's Director of Student Life for the first two years of his Titan career. During that time, he oversaw the Student Life department moving into the new Student Activities Center, the procurement of new campus-based leisure resources for students, and the development of a fully online Student Life portal in the college's learning managament system. Under his leadership, the college has also created their first-ever online Student ID submission and generation portal, and a fully online orientation course with a modular-based approach focused on the holistic student experience.

However, Sisk is not a stranger to the world of intercollegiate athletics. Prior to joining CCBC, he served as the Life Skills Coordinator for the University of Pittsburgh's Department of Athletics. From 2016-2018 he was part of the Cathy and John Pelusi Family Life Skills Program, a comprehensive unit within Pitt Athletics focused on the holistic development of student-athletes beyond the classroom and competition. In his role, he provided day-to-day budgetary management and operating support for all workshops and events provided by the department, and served as the advisor for the Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC). Additional duties included management of all communications platforms for the division, including social media, weekly newsletters, and other media. He also was the primary liaison for community service projects for all 19 teams of the department, helping them amass nearly 5,000 hours per year in each of his two years in the role. In his role as the SAAC advisor, Sisk also provided creative, budgetary and operating oversight on the group's creation of the department's first ever year-end awards ceremony, the Panther Gala, which now exists as the Panthers' Choice Awards and will be entering its 5th year in 2021.

After departing Pitt, Sisk still stayed connected within the athletics community in the region, serving as a media relations liaison for the NCAA Wrestling National Championships hosted at PPG Paints Arena in 2019, and a floor operations coordinator for the ACC Wrestling Championships, hosted by the University of Pittbsurgh in March, 2020. He also worked as an ACC Instant Replay Field Technician from 2018-19, and has been a freelance public address announcer for a variety of local high school and intercollegiate sporting events since 2012. Beyond his professional work, Sisk also serves as a member of the operations team for the annual CJ Betters RBA Holiday Classic Basketball tournament held annualy in the CCBC dome, coordinating scorer's table operations and chairing the Girl's All-Tournament Selection Committee.

A Beaver County native, Sisk earned both a Bachelor's Degree in Communication and Rhetoric, and a Master's Degree in Higher Education Management from the University of Pittsburgh. He currently resides in Center Township.
