Titans take care of business in home win over Chesapeake College
Monaca, PA – After defeating Hartford Community College and losing an overtime thriller against host team Harcum College in Bryn Mawr, the Community College of Beaver County Titans returned home to the dome and improved their record to 2-1 to start their 2019-20 campaign after a 109-63 victory Saturday over Chesapeake College. Led by a Double-Double from Sophomore Forward Tyree Corbett (19 points and 11 rebounds), The Titans had an exceptional offensive outing, shooting over 50% from the field, including 50% from 3pt Range and 78.9% from the Free Throw line. Sophomore Guard Rasheed Browne contributed with 6 points and 12 assists and Sophomore Forwards Chris Greene and Simeon Fryer provided 19 and 18 points respectively in the win over Chesapeake. The Titans will travel to North East, Maryland to take on the Cecil College Seahawks on Wednesday, November 20th, looking for a victory in the same gymnasium where The Titans previous season had ended. The Titans will then return home to play host to the Northern Virginia Community College Nighthawks on Saturday, November 23rd.
